DuoNat is a free game that trains your eye to identify wildlife. You are shown pairs of photos — two birds, two insects, two plants, two fungi — and you learn to tell them apart by their field marks. As you play, DuoNat tracks the species you have actually learned to recognise, so you can watch your knowledge grow.
It runs in any modern browser and installs as an app on Android. Photos come from the iNaturalist community.
